Jonathan G. Lusher is Senior Vice President of Consulting and Inspectional Services for IPC International Corporation of Bannockburn, Illinois. IPC International provides Public Safety services to shopping centers and similar developments, including on-site, full service security operations, consulting and other support services. Prior to joining IPC International, Mr. Lusher worked in the thoroughbred horse racing industry for ten years, including roles as a chief State regulator and facility security director; he was also a detective with the Baltimore Police Department. Mr. Lusher holds a Bachelor’s Degree from The American University and completed graduate level work at several institutions, as well as the advanced Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) curriculum at the National Crime Prevention Institute. Mr. Lusher is a regular speaker at International Council of Shopping Center conventions and seminars as well as a Faculty Member at the University of Shopping Centers, and he is the author of numerous published articles on security, criminology and crime prevention. He is Chair of the International Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design Association, and a member of the International Society of Crime Prevention Practitioners, American Society for Industrial Security and its Crime and Loss Prevention Council.
